Congratulation Ray Bazeley for wining the match on Sunday 18 May 2025
After a very disappointing week in the festival at whiteacres Ray Bazeley managed to catch a few in the latest club match fished on a very windy Paddock at Acorn Fishery.
Drawing peg 13 Ray started on the method which produced 3 small carp, switching to the Paste apart from small fish playing with it, it produced nothing, switching to his right hand margin and by feeding 4mm pellet and baiting with banded 6mm pellet he took fish to 10lbs to finish with a total weight of 143-04.
Mark Walsh continued his good form by securing 2nd place from peg 17, fishing his top kit and alternating between the corn and soft pellet over his keepnets and down his right hand margin for a total weight of 129-12.
Bob Smith filled 3rd place from Island peg 3 with 126-00.
Brad Sowden finished 4th from peg 19 with 120-13.
Mike Chapman took top honours in the Silver’s from Bridge peg 40 with a Tench and Skimmer Bream net for 41-04.
